Hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber, abbreviated: HNBR, or H-NBR. It is a new breed of nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR).
Hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) is a kind of highly saturated elastomer obtained by special hydrogenation treatment of nitrile butadiene rubber. Hydrogenated nitrile rubber has good oil resistance (good resistance to fuel oil, lubricating oil and aromatic solvents); And because of its highly saturated structure, it has good heat resistance, excellent chemical corrosion resistance (good resistance to freon, acid, alkali), excellent ozone resistance, high compression permanent deformation resistance; At the same time, hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber also has the characteristics of high strength, high tearing performance, excellent wear resistance, etc., is one of the most excellent comprehensive properties of rubber.
property
The high temperature resistance of HNBR is 130 ~ 180℃, the cold resistance is -55 ~ -38℃ and the mechanical properties are excellent, which can better meet the requirements of the automotive industry compared with other polymers. The HNBR reinforced with ZnO/ methacrylic acid (MAA) can be used to make triangle belt, isogauge triangle belt, multi-purpose triangle ring base adhesive, vibration isolator, etc. It can also prepare sealing rings, seals, heat-resistant pipes, etc. In oil drilling, rubber products must withstand the test of high temperature, high pressure, acid, amine, H2S, CO2, CH4 and other vapors. The various products prepared by HNBR can resist acid, oil and solvent. HNBR reinforced with ZnO/MAA can be used to make drilling protection boxes and pistons for mud pumps. In addition, paper gaskets made of HNBR by beater method can be used as sealing gaskets in petroleum industry and automobile industry. The heat and radiation resistance of HNBR is better than that of silicone rubber, fluororubber and polytetracloroethylene, which is suitable for various rubber seals of power stations, hydraulic pipes, hydraulic seals, cable sheaths for power stations, printing and fabric rollers, weapon parts and aerospace seals, covering layers, fuel bags, etc. HNBR latex can be used as a surface coating (painting), adhesive for textile, paper, leather, metal, ceramics, non-woven fibers, as well as foamed rubber, impregnated latex products. In addition, HNBR reinforced with ZnO/MAA, peroxide and high wear-resistant furnace has better comprehensive properties than ordinary HNBR.
Apply
Hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber is widely used in oil field, automobile industry and so on. With the development of the automobile and petroleum industry, in addition to oil resistance, rubber parts also need to have good heat resistance, high temperature resistance, high pressure, oxygen resistance and other characteristics. Ordinary nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) has been far from meeting these requirements, although some of these uses have been replaced by fluoroprene rubber, which is expensive. Therefore, people began to explore the improvement of NBR performance, and hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber was successfully developed to meet this new need.
